Lament

Touché Amoré worked with producer Ross Robinson on Lament, bringing a different studio perspective to their fifth album. Jeremy Bolm’s voice stays at the center of the songs, with the band moving between fast, compressed passages and arrangements that leave more room around the words.

“Reminders” makes melody part of that approach, while the closing “A Forecast” gives the sequence a quieter entrance before the band returns. The record makes space for those changes without losing the urgency of the performances.
