A Star Is Born Soundtrack

Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's A Star Is Born soundtrack follows the two lead characters through country-rock performances, intimate ballads and more polished pop settings. The live-performance element gives several songs a directness that connects them to the film's stages and rehearsal rooms.

“Shallow” centres the exchange between the two singers, while “Always Remember Us This Way” gives Gaga a piano-led setting of her own. The sequence also contains dialogue, so its changes in sound trace a story as well as a collection of songs. The voices provide continuity through those transitions.
