Lonesome Dreams

Ben Schneider developed Lord Huron from a solo project into a band for Lonesome Dreams. Its songs suggest journeys, separation and imagined landscapes, with layered acoustic instruments and close vocal harmonies giving the narratives a sense of distance and movement.

“Ends of the Earth” opens with a strummed pattern before the arrangement expands, while “Time to Run” pushes the travelling theme forward. “She Lit a Fire” makes a more direct melodic entrance. The album's linked visual world adds context, but the songs also carry their stories through recurring sounds and vocal phrases.
