Iridescence

Brockhampton made Iridescence as their first album for RCA, carrying the momentum and pressure of the Saturation records into a more abrasive sound. Sessions at Abbey Road helped shape a record that moves rapidly between group vocals, distorted beats and moments of exposed uncertainty.

“New Orleans” arrives with a hard electronic edge, while “Tonya” lets the voices and piano carry more of the weight. The contrast gives the album its restless character: a crowded conversation in which confidence and doubt keep interrupting one another.
