The Album

BLACKPINK's first full studio album brings Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa into a compact set of eight songs. The Album alternates forceful rap passages with large pop choruses, using electronic production to make quick changes between brash group performances and more melodic sections.

“How You Like That” and “Pretty Savage” emphasise the quartet's harder attack. Selena Gomez joins “Ice Cream,” and Cardi B appears on “Bet You Wanna,” while “Lovesick Girls” places an open, emotional chorus near the centre of the record. The short sequence makes each change in mood count.
