10 Songs

Travis made 10 Songs with Fran Healy and Robin Baynton sharing production duties. The title describes the record plainly, and its arrangements keep the focus on the band's songwriting, moving between piano-led passages and a fuller guitar sound.

“The Only Thing” brings Susanna Hoffs into a duet with Healy, while “A Ghost” introduces one of the album's more insistent rhythms. The guest appearance fits within an otherwise familiar band setting, adding another voice without changing the scale of the record.
