No More Tears gives Zakk Wylde’s guitar a central role in Ozzy Osbourne’s early-nineties sound. The title track begins with Bob Daisley’s bass figure and grows into a long arrangement with keyboards, heavy riffs and an extended guitar solo.

“Mama, I’m Coming Home” offers a more restrained setting for Osbourne’s voice. The contrast lets the record move between direct hard rock and ballads without losing the recognizable tone of the band.
